Summary
The short version: we don't want your data. We don't sell ads, we don't profile users, and we don't need to know who you are to give you an IQ score. The test runs in your browser, computes your score locally, and sends nothing back to our servers about your answers or results.
What we don't collect
We do not collect, store, or process:
- Your name, email, age, gender, country, or any other identifying information
- Your test answers, your IQ score, or your per-domain breakdown
- Any account or login data — there are no accounts on this site
- Behavioral profiling, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking data
What we do collect (minimal)
Our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical data for any visit to any website, including IQ Test US:
- Server access logs — your IP address, browser user-agent, the page URL you requested, and the timestamp. These are standard web-server logs used to monitor uptime, debug errors, and detect abuse. They are not joined with any personal identifier on our side.
- Aggregate analytics (if enabled) — anonymous page-view counts and referrer sources, used to understand which content is read. We do not use this to identify you.
We do not currently run any third-party analytics scripts that track individual users (no Google Analytics with user-ID tracking, no Facebook Pixel, no Hotjar). If this changes, we will update this page.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com) — to deliver typography. Google receives your IP address and browser type when loading fonts. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Our hosting provider — handles standard web-server functions. Hosting logs are retained per their standard retention policy.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have rights including: access to personal data we hold about you, correction, deletion, and objection to processing.
Because we collect no personal data and store no test results, we have nothing about you to give access to, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold data about you in error (for example, in server logs you want purged), contact us via our contact page and we'll investigate.
Changes to this policy
If we change our data practices — for example, by adding analytics or user accounts — we will update this page and note the change date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
